Anubis Handcrafted Wooden Grimoire

Anubis is the Egyptian god of the afterlife, lost souls and the helpless. His images have been found on tombs from as early as 3150 BCE. Anubis is an excellent diety to work with in regards to shadow work.

Each of our grimoires features 1/4" baltic birch covers and either 2 or 3 rings depending on your size choice. The unique design of loose rings means that the cover can be fully folded back leaving plenty of working room when writing and the ability to add or remove pages. We offer a few paper choices depending on the size you choose. Paper choices may vary depending on availability but include: watercolor paper, blank kraft paper, custom designed journal pages. Our custom journal paper was printed to look like old paper and has lines on one side and is blank on the other to allow space to draw or attach other items. Each grimoire can be personalized with your name or a short phrase along the front bottom edge of the cover.

This journal is painted white and heavily distressed with a coat of stain followed by polycrylic to protect the finish.

All of my items are crafted from quality materials. Each piece of wood is picked specifically for your project. I check the grain on each side and choose the side that will make the most beautiful piece. This makes each item one of a kind.

All paint and stain is water based and non-toxic. Stain is mixed in house in small batches, so some color variations can occur.

Everything in my store is designed, crafted, and packaged in my small Texas studio with intention and respect for your practice.

Paper options:

Kraft Paper - Unlined

Watercolor - Unlined

Journal Pages - this paper looks old and stained and is lined on one side while the other is unlined to allow room to draw or attach items

Size options:

Small - 2 rings, holds up to 8.5x5.5 paper

Large - 3 rings, holds up to 8.5x11 paper

Each tool is made to order especially for you. Most items ship in 2-5 business days, however items with complicated finishes may take a little longer.

All items are shipped via USPS to US addresses only. Each purchase includes tracking.

While I would love to be able to guarantee shipping dates, I am unable to do so. If you need your item on a certain date please contact me before you place your order.

Each of my items are made especially for you when you order. Therefore, I do not accept returns or cancellations due to a change of heart.

I strive for each of my customers to be ecstatic with their purchase. If your item comes in damaged, please reach out ASAP. Do not discard packaging of damaged items! Please send a photo of the packaging and item and we will work together to get a new, undamaged item to you.
