"As Above So Below" Baphomet Wooden Spoon

The earliest known writings containing the name Baphomet date back to July 1098 during the First Crusade. In the 1300s every Templar was arrested and accused of worshiping Baphomet, followed by the Freemasons in the 19th century. While the original meanings of Baphomet are uncertain, it was used to falsely accuse Christians of idolatry. The symbolism of Baphomet that we recognize today originated in a book by French occultist Eliphas Levi. Levi's depiction, and the association Baphomet is most linked to, is the duality of all things. The sigil of Baphomet has an equally storied history dating back to a description in Levi's book.

These spoons are great to use as a wand or decoration. We recommend not using them for cooking as the engraved areas could allow bacteria buildup. Care for your spoon: hand washes only, seal regularly with food-grade mineral oil. Beechwood.

The spoon measures 12" long and is made from solid Beechwood.
